Dorothy Imhauser is an Arkansas artist who regularly displays her work. She is on the Arkansas Artist Registry, belongs to the Mid-Southern Watercolorists Association, Conway League of Artists, and is a past member of the Brush and Palette Guild of Pine Bluff. She has taken art classes at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock and has taken numerous workshops with well-known artists from all over Arkansas and other states.
She works mostly in oil and watercolor but also paints with acrylics and works with colored pencils. Most of her work is of landscapes and still life. She either works on the site doing plein-air painting or in her sudio, painting from reference photos she has taken. Her studio is in Morrilton, Arkansas.
Her paintings have won awards in both watercolor and oil categories. She has also taught classes in both watercolor and oil for both children and adults. She as tuaght classes and has had shows hung at the Rialto Art Gallery and has also had her art in shows at the University of Central Arkansas and the Faulkner County Library.
